As many have said, choosing a CC or OC gun is personal preference. After choosing on .40S&W as the caliber I wanted, I tried a bunch of different ones at Sam's gun range and decided on which one worked best and that I shot the best. It actually ended up being the G27.
That's am amazing test. Handgun magazine had a similar test written up on the XD .45 but how often do you do that to your gun? I take my gun to the range in a closed dust proof case. Open it, shoot, go home and clean my gun. I carry it and pray that I NEVER need to use it on the street. Then I clean and oil it once a month or so shot or not. I don't ever plan on running it over with a truck, dropping it from a plane or filling it with wet baby powder.

If you've never tried a Glock I suggest you do so. They don't fit everybody. I had one, didn't like anything about it.

Get a Glock 26. Put Tru-Glo sights on it.

Nothing wrong with the glock, if it fits your hand it's a wonderful weapon. I carry one every day. If it does not fit your hand find something that does.

Glocks are funny, people either like em or hate em. I like them, I also like other handguns as well. As for all of the weapons I buy to carry, Glock has been the one I have stuck with.

You might also wan't to check out the Springfeild XD

Keep the Tec-9! And as for MY personal choice, I would rather have a High Point than a Glock!

CCW? A tec-9? How?
I've never understood what niche the tec-9's are supposed to fill, other than the "gee-whiz" factor. They are big, bulky, and don't do anything a hi-cap nine doesn't do, other than take up a lot of space. Anything would be better for CCW. Anything.

Glocks don't fit everyone but they are dead nuts reliable.Hi point pure junk for the most part [some people,a small% have good ones].
If the glock doesn't suit you look at the M&P,px4. The xds are ok but their cs has been lacking.

Actually that was NOT to tick anyone off, if they were my only choices I wouldn't choose the Glock. I carry either a Witness P Compact .45 or a Kel-Tec P-11 depending on what I'm wearing. Glocks are not bad guns, I just won't trust one. There's something about that "safe action trigger system" on Glocks, Smith's, and Springer's that don't set well with me. Give me a good old fashioned hammer type SA/DA, (with or with a safety), any day!
