I just bought my first handgun, PT24/7PRO .45

Just picked one up last night, i was talking to a cop, he told me they do a 3 day background check, i went in there and told the guy ide be back in 3 days, heare yo told me "What u talking about, wait 5 min..." I was able to take it home the same day

Anyway, what are some nice sighting(red dot), grips and, ammo i should get for the pt24/7. Any great websites that any of you are willing to share? (ammo, grips, sighting.)

The guy who sold it to me said i will "overpay" for the gun (450$) but i said i don't want to waste gas to save 100$. how much COULD have i got it for?

The man also sold me hollow point .45 AUTO +P 200GR JHP/XTP Hornady, (he told me "They will fuck shit up"), for target shooting he sold me Wolf .45 Auto 230GR FMJ.

Thanks!

Welcome! I'd say depending on where you live, you and\or your dealer may be in for some deep doo-doo if the cop is right! If you're not going to be going off to prison anytime soon, I'd first suggest finding a more professional dealer. Second, I'd keep the Hornady ammo for self-defense but practice with it. Third, tjhry several different brands of ammo for practice\plinking. Wolf is NOT a "target" load-it is a cheap load that is good for punching holes and making your gun really dirty. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's reliable, shoots well, and gives you lots of experience cleaning your new gun. BTW, the grips you have are the grips you'll have from now on unless you use a Hogue Hand-All sleeve, and I'm not sure about sights, try CDNN Sports, Inc.

If you are out of there keep your mouth shut. You did nothing wrong and only the dealers actions would be questionable but that isnt you.Rather than calling the cop, look up your state laws.It should be under public safety somewhere. If after reading the law you think you should clarify something to CYA ask an attourney first.Never wake sleeping dogs. sam.
