I bought one at the local pawn shop on a whim this past fall.. I put in new Wolf springs and cleaned it up. However I found the 9mm Mak. ammo to be expensive, and the gun just plain hurt my hand when I shot it. I got rid of it after another member on here described an accidental discharge after racking the slide.

I traded it in towards my Colt 45

I traded for one after building grips for them for some time. Mine is all stock (haven't had time to build grips for my own gun ) and is one of my favorite guns. They're really simple and most are in excellent cond. The mag release is in the right place but the safety is a decocker and operates backwards, you have to push it forward to fire. This is much easier than it sounds and eventually becomes natural. If you have really meaty hands, you might get bit by the slide but most don't have a problem with it. I build grips for a lot of these and most guys love 'em.

Well i was looking at them on classic arms and for 145 dollars I am not expecting the greatest gun just something to plink with but if the ammo is expensive not be the greatest gun then

If you look around a bit, you can find ammo pretty reasonably. Win. is $18.95\50 rds. here but there's a pawn shop that sells S&B for $9.95\50 rds.

Get a load of this; I walk into the Pawn Shop today, and notice the guys got one of these in the case. Yeah, it looked pretty good, but the idiot wanted $275 for it. Stay away from pawn shops.

You can buy cases of 9 Mak for under 150 usually. Just gotta look around. It's no more expensive (usually less) than 9mm Luger.

There is an FEG forum here with an abundance of Q&A regarding the PA-63. Best would be to check there. It is here:

FEG

Hope that helps.
