Looks like a Star Wars gun...I want one

I wonder how the recoil is, or how it's held?

Personal experience - Couple of people at the range have come in with my dad and I, and haven't gone 10 rounds without a hiccup. For the price, they're fine, but I'd never seriously depend on it. Two or three times I heard people coming into the local shop asking for an exchange on their Kel Tec .32 autos, or complaining that they don't function. May be stupid people, but I can't get over the range reports, and experiences I've had/heard.
However, that bottom pict in the first post... Oh my... I think I need one to play with for a day or two...

Hey Billy,
Love mine!! I have run about 600 rounds of Wolf .223 thru mine with about a half dozen Wolf duds. Had a couple of jams with the 2nd clip I used after buying.( one 30 RD clip (retired) ) No problems since. Very accurate with my LER scope and sling for steadying. The noise and the fire ball rate a 10 on the impressed me scale. I like it. Thought a Kel-Tec forum would work great here also, for no other reason than to hear the pros and cons. The PLR- 16 is the only Kel-Tec I own, but have been tempted a number of times. The bottom line Billy, I do really like mine and do not plan on getting rid of it any time soon. If there is a drawback, it is the fact the fore arm and the muzzle brake are to me pretty much essential extras (cost) for accuracy and comfort....

Those are sweet! But I can't have them in California. I think these fall under the catergory of "I don't really need it, but I'll buy it because I can". I sure would if I could.

NO. Or, at least, if they do, you shouldn't use them.

That would be illegal since it is classified as a pistol. Putting a buttstock on it would make it a Short Barreled Rifle and a Class III firearm. Unless you go through the proper channels with the BATFE to make it an SBR, you will be breaking federal laws.

Just need to buy rifle version of the PLR 16. The Kel-Tec SU 16

The SU-16's are self-loading rifles for the .223 Remington cartridge. They accept standard M-16 and AR-15 magazines, anc come in several exciting configuations.
Now legal in California- all models (A,B,CA) except the 'C' model.

I've heard nothing but excellent reports from those that own them.

They're very cool. (And loud!)

The PLR-16 and the SU-16 share the identical action and trigger assemblies. I have an SU-16A, pictured below, which holds one 30 rd. mag in the butt-stock, or two 10-rounders, has a built-in bi-pod and picatinny (sp?) rail that the scope is mounted to in the pics. This model is also a folding stock. They accept AR-15/M-16 mags, which are probably the cheapest and most available rifel mags on the market. I've shot at least 5,000 rounds through mine and never had a FTF or FTE. I did have a couple of duds, as well as a "squib" where only the primer ignited, and had to quit for the day because the bullet stayed in the barrel and I didn't have a cleaning kit or rod with me to get it out, but neither of those problems can be attributed to the gun. There are thousands upon thousands of satisfied owners of both Kel-Tec rifles and pistols. That's not to say that some don't get a "Monday-made" gun here and there, but from everything I've read, Kel-Tec's customer service and warranty dept. is very accommodating.

My advice, don't take the advice of someone who knocks 'em while admitting that he's never held one or shot one. For folks who don't have $1,000 bucks laying around to drop on a decent AR-15, Kel-Tecs are a great alternative, and from my personal experience, a reliable alternative as well.
