Kudos to a little known Co. Called STI.

If you've never heard of them, here's something you should know for sure.
Follow the link and then click on Press Release....
STI International, Inc.

When a company a small as this takes a stand and risks it all for what they believe in and because they disagree in what is going on and what it could do to the future of firearms and the rights we have concerning them, it needs to be pointed out as often as possible and they need to be told Thank you. I have already sent them a Thank you for standing up for my rights and I ask you do the same. Just read the press release, you'll understand.

By the way, they also have a cool (FREE) screen saver. It is on the home page. It will work with Windows Vista, I couldn't get it to with Windows XP though.

I would like to see more firearm manufacturer's stand up for not only themselves but us as well, as this one has. Not only them but any company related to the industry whether they make holsters, ammunition, accessories etc.etc.etc... Maybe if they all took a similar stance, our rights wouldn't be in jeopardy.

I plan on showing my support for what they've done by purchasing one of there well made firearms.

By the way, in regards to the screen saver, if anyone gets it to work or figures out how to get it to work with Windows XP, please let me know what you did.

Thanks in advance,
G_Meister

I use that screen saver on 2 Windows 2000 machines with no problems and need to check if I ever put it on my XP laptop.

They did? I'll take your word for it. I have never heard that up until now. I'll search for a press release on it and if I can find anything that confirms this, I'll send them a Thank you as I did STI.
Don't think I could afford a .50BMG though to show my appreciation that way. lol Love to have one. No where for me to shoot that one. IL. sucks for ranges as it is. Gotta drive hours as it is for rifles.

Handgun ranges aren't much better. One of those 5 minutes up the road. Problem there is, not well maintained, my opinion. They have 8-10 lanes, lucky if 6 operate properly.

Thanks again for the heads up about Barrett.

Glad to know it worked for you. Let me know if you end up trying it on the XP operating system. I had no luck. If it works let me know. If it don't let me know that also. If it didn't work and you got it to, let me know what you did? lol Thanks in advance.

Yes, Barrett firearms took the same stance that they would not sell or service firearms to LE in CA because they won't let civilians own them.
