| i just broke my bersa thunder 380. the trigger does not reset after pulling it, please help!!!! could it be a broken fireing pin? i was fooling around at the time and dryfireing and yes i know how stupid this was of me to be doing.... its a brand new gun.... again please help ![]() i think it might be a broken spring there is a small peice of metal hanging behind the trigger, help! what should i do/who should i contact? ive never had a gun brake on me before. | Be glad it happened while dry firing. Better to happen then instead of while you had live ammo in it. Who knows? But yes, + 2 on new gun back to the shop it was bought from. G-Meister

| Senior Member | It new take it back. However mine did that once, if you take off the grips you will see a small metal bracket / bar going from the trigger to the hammer. it just lays in a small slot and if not seated totally before the grips are put on after cleaning or during assembly it wont reset. thats probally the problem happened to me once when I took off the grips to give it a good cleaning.
