Going for the hi-point

Well i got a check in the mail today from my great aunt for 250 dollars today. no clue why i got it. just did. so this weekend im gonna call around and find who has the hi-point pistols for the cheapest. I still cant decide on a 9mm or .45 though. GAHHH. but i do know what ever one i get im gonna buy the gun, and extra mag, and use whatever money is left over to get some ammo. Woo im pumped

great choice .although being me i would have went with a carbine being they ain't gonna be around much longer so you better get them while you can.

well im going for the pistol because ive never owned one before. i have shotguns full size rifles and carbines. im going for the pistol because it will be a brand new experience

Depending where you live, you are going to have a lot left over afterwards. They seem to be the cheapest here in Ohio where they are made. 9mm is selling for about $120 and for the 45 it is $140. I have had the 9mm and it was an ok gun. It went bang every time I shot it.

You might want to also consider a .40 caliber as the 9mm has not always done the job in combat
and the .45 might be a little much for someone without a great deal of experience. If you do get a .45 I would want a steel frame to absorb some recoil which I feel is too much in an aluminum or plasticized frame.

that ban is comin around again!! you better buy what you want now . you will be able to get pistols after but i think this time when they pass the awb it's gonna be for good. infact it would be a smart idea to buy up all kinda mags or clips if some call them that even if you don't own the gun that stuff is gonna be like gold in a year. riot shotgun kits is another good thing to buy too you can always buy a shotgun at the pawnshop but the pistolgrips are gonna be a thing of the past.

oddly everywhere ive called around here the 9mm's are going for about 150 or 160 and the .45's and .40's are going for close to 190! and hell i live maybe 30 miles from where they are made! and like i said on another post either her or on another forum, it is the exact same price for a .45 as a .40, so why not just go for the .45?

I am not sure if they have more than one plant, but I know one of the plants is here in Ohio. If you are in Ohio, it might be worth the drive to Columbus. check Vances or Buckeye Outdoors.

well i was going off the fact that their address is listed in dayton. and i actually live just a couple of miles outside of cincinnati. so like i said, very close to them
