Cool .460 Mag

I purchased a .460 after reading the test in G & A. The test info talked about the extra machining and polishing that went in to the cyllinder to keep the ultra-high pressure gasses from etching the surfaces. There must be a reason for that!

I started with .45 long colt, then .454 Casull, and finally full power .460 loads. The fireball is incredible. It is a rush to shoot. That being said, I don't want my body parts anywhere near where the fireball, or the concussion comes from.

I have seen the pictures, and it's not pretty. The guy says he didn't feel pain at first (probably because there were 3rd degree burns, which kill the nerves).

Just another example of the need for basic safety, and familiarization with each firearm.

The lawsuit possibility sucks. Lack of common sense should not be rewarded.

Yeah the lawsuit wouldn't be a good one, but he might have a chance at a Defect in the maufacturer's warning. Since I havent read the manual I don't know what is said about the cylinder gap. There is a chance for a disclosure defect or a inadequacy of the severity of the harm. Not trying to russle any feathers but he might have a chance. Lack of common sense shouldn't be rewarded but common sense is not a defense to failing to disclose. needless to say he has a good story to tell around the campfire now.
