A New Concept in Personal Defense

This is the best new concept for personal defense I have seen in years. I definitely want one. I just hope MagPul dares to put it into production.

Yeah those guys at Magpul are doing some good stuff. I'm looking forward to getting their Masada/ACR rifle. I doubt this flash-light weapon will make it into production.... it seems like the powers that be would stop it from being made. But its hella cool.

Moose, why does this new idea of MagPul's qualify as a Class III weapon? From what I can see, it's in philosophy the extension of the wooden shoulder stock/holster of the old Broomhandle Mauser. Even though it folds up to look like a clutch purse or an IBM Thinkpad variant, when you get right down to it the thing is a Glock with a shoulder stock, or perhaps just a very weird holster. So why would it fall under the Class III classification?

I'd buy one if it was available. It would be a lot cooler if you didnt have to unfold it. Just pull a trigger on the sight rail.

I took what he said as it has a space (a little hole type place in the case) that allows the modification for a fully auto Glock to fit in there. Its just a Glock slide in there - I don't think it matters whether you were to use a semi or FA version.

What I heard was that the space is for a auto sear unit, that would come under two areas I think 1.a class III weapon and 2, other destructive device, such as short barrel rifle or such

you could have a semi with an AOW $5 tax stamp, the full auto would be class III.
