| Has anyone here owned or shot a Cobra Patriot .45? I've been reading reviews and looking at pictures and it seems to be about the same size (beefier) as a Kel-Tec P-11. They say it has a heavy but manageable trigger but is not bad on recoil. I'm trying to get all the info I can before I buy one. Thanks. Dave ![]() |

| I just sold a Republic Arms Patriot. it was a .45 the same as the Cobra model. When cobra bought the Republic Arms company the quality went down the pooper. My Patriot felt really good in my hands and was great in size, not to mention that it accepted 1911 mags... but even with mine I had a lot of failure to ejects, and I wasn't super pleased with its accuracy. So I sold it. If you want a cheap .45 go with a Hi-Point, if you want a small framed .45 look elsewhere. If you have any questions about the gun PM me.

| I have HEARD, that the .45 (which looks almost like a Taurus PT-145) is almost a decent gun, better than the 9mm (which looks like a Kel-Tec P-11). I've looked at both and found them both lacking. Neither have a slide lock and just felt cheap in my hand. Are they good guns? I don't know. Would I own one? NO! |
