| Senior Member | Where's a good source of 9x18 Makarov Ammo? I'm looking very seriously at an FEG PA-63 for a carry piece, assuming the judge that decides on such things approves my CCW permit a week from tomorrow, at least to start with. I like the feel of the Walther PP design(the PA-63 is a Walther PP with a Hungarian accent for practical purposes), and apart from its reputation for slide-biting people with large hands it has an excellent service rep; but none of the gun shops around here stock 9x18 Makarov ammo. I'd be happy if I could get one in 9mm Kurz, because that's a .380 ACP and the gunshops do stock that caliber. There is no point in buying a pistol I can't get ammo for. So where or from what company do all the FEG owners buy their 9x18 Makarov ammunition? |

| Senior Member ![]() | Cyrano your local gun stores can order it or type in at a search engine 9X18 ammo sales or something like that. It's very plentiful. J&G has it. If you want some accurant hollow points try a box of Hornady custom 9X18 and Winchester has a good FMJ too. Good Luck...A.H EDIT: I carry a CZ 82. 9X18 caliber |

Trader Rating: (0) | Cyrano..my FEG is a .380 ACP but before I knew that, I bought 3 boxes of 9X18 Maks at 2 different gun stores in my area; believe it or not, the maks were about the same price as .380 ammo. I would go with ArkansasHunter and try your local gun stores...that type of ammo appears common in my area, at least.
