| classes vary from $40 to $100 here, with the permit running $152.50 for 5 years. $15 to renew after that.

| Lost in the Ozone Again ![]() | FL permit is $117 (reciprocal w/TX and a bunch of others) -- You can renew that if out of state as well with your new address (although you won't be able to carry in CO, NH, WV without a state of residence permit). PA is a great deal -- $26 door to door in a few weeks. The sheriff of Centre county will issue based on your current state's permit. Very user friendly and excellent customer service. Both valid 5 years.

| Senior Member | One other note...if you got an Honorable Discharge from the US Military...you don't have to take the course in most states. All you have to do is attach a copy of your DD-214 to the application and fill in the blanks It is HIGHLY SUGGESTED that you take it just for safety's sake... |
