Is it $279 before the $50.00 rebate and two extra free mags?If it is, that's a better price than around here in PA.FWIW, the M&P at about $430 is a much better pistol, better trigger, just all around better than the Sigma and it also has the same rebate and 2 free mags sale going on. My M&P has been flawless and digests what I feed it, WWB,Blazer,Rem.,Barnaul,Cor-Bon DPX. |

it does take some getting use to the trigger but the guns are great for the money, hard to beat in that price range

Yeah as the others have said, it depends on your location. Here in Central Ohio, there is a dealer selling the S&W Sigma in 9mm or 40 for $299 with 3 magazines. Then you get the $50 mail in rebate plus another 2 magazines. So in the end, you get the gun for $249 with 5 magazines. I have the Sigma 9mm and it has been a very dependable gun. Most people don't like the heavy trigger pull, but it does get better the more you shoot it. I have put around 2,000 rounds through mine without a single problem and the trigger pull has gotten much lighter. There are also some gunsmiths that can lighten that trigger pull as well. If you do have the extra money, you may want to look at the M&P series. They seems to have a pretty good rep. I keep looking at them for my next gun. |
