NC gun laws

I have a Bersa 380 pistol. I have found a great deal on a Taurus Millenium 380. I have a pistol permit for North Carolina. What do I have to do legally to trade in my Bersa for the Taurus?

paper exchange

walt526: Sir; Go to a gun dealer with the owner of the other firearm. Ask the dealer to do the paper work.
Now if you have NC CC and he has NC CC you can trade on the spot.
You will need to get all the info. i.e. Dl, Address, and the rest.
Exchange and be on your way.
Now if both of you have the handgun buyers thing; sign and exchange

Get all info CYA

I don't know why you would want to trade, much less get rid of a Bersa. You can sell to the dealer. If you are talking about a private sale, you both need to have a purchase permit. Where in NC are you, and how much do you want for the Bersa?
