| Colt .45 M1991A1 series 80 pistol date?
The serial# is 2701549. I couldnt find similar #'s on the colt records to find the date. Can anyone help?

| 1911 I don't really know anything about the serial numbers, but the commander is a bit shorter than tha full size government model.

It must be the govt model then because it has a good size barrel at least 5" long. It looks noticeably longer than my pt945 that has a 4" barrel.

Meat is your serial # anywhere close to mine? Is it lower or higher?
