I'm working on getting either a T/C Contender or a T/C Encore pistol. Keep debating on the barrel though the .414SuperMag is getting my attention as of late.

Thumbs up

Well, my brother-in-law is thinking of getting a Heritage Arms .22LR revolver, and I'm thinking of getting one too. It would be his first handgun. I don't have a .22LR revolver now, and like the looks and feel of the Heritage. I'll probably have to order it though, as I want the steel frame and the adjustable sights - not usually found down here in the gunshops.

Wink

Well, Papa G, I already have two good .22 semiauto pistols, and a .22 WMR SA revolver that is the Heritage's grandfather. I have handled and shot the Heritage, and found it a decent gun well worth the money.
I often get a gun just because some folks bad mouth it. Most often, I find them perfectly good guns - just misunderstood or under-appreciated.
Some that are praised highly, turn out to be just so-so. I'll get one and see for myself.

Most likely it'll be a:

SW Walther PPK/S .380/.9mm, Mag holds 9 rounds, stainless steel, (around $500)

or a:

Springfield XD .40 3" Bbl, Mag holds 9 rounds, (around $430)

I'm still considering the pro's and con's of each of these.
