| If you carried a gun that reflected your personality, what would it be?
A lot of people who carry guns, carry the gun they consider the most up to date, the most effective, the one they feel they can trust. But if your choice of carry gun was based solely upon who you really are, who you feel like on the inside, what you're really like as a person, what gun would you pack? I myself am a walking anachronism, a man of the past. I wish I could have lived in the days of high adventure, when men were men and women were women and guns were steel and wood, and men went all over the world doing dangerous things to prove themselves and to make history. If I were on a dangerous expedition to some jungle primeval to find some fabled artifact and fend off villanous enemies, bitter rivals and hostile tribesmen, I do believe my choice would be this baby right here: The Webley Mk VI in .455 British Service. |

The past reaches out and grabs me too. I would feel very much at home with a .45 Colt Peacemaker on my hip and a modern Marlin Mod.1895 cowboy in 45-70 with the 9 + 1 Mag. But in reality, for the area and time in which I now live my choices would be a tac 4 Para Ord. LDA .45 and a Savage Mod.99 in .243.

| Quote: While preparing for the attack on DAGGER's headquarters, Baldwin noticed Waverly, holstering a Mark VI Webley. He asked Waverly if he'd prefer something a little more modern. Waverly replied that it was the fit of man to gun that mattered, that he had been through a lot with this one, and they'd always taken good care of each other. You use what suits you and is suited to the mission at hand. Remember, Annie Oakley built her reputation on her ability to hit what she pointed at first by shooting ducks through the head with a Pennsylvania rifle for the local hotels (they paid a premium for headshot birds, so guests wouldn't bite down on birdshot) and then by beating Frank Butler in a clay pigeon match using that same smokepole against Butler's Winchester. |

When the task is tough and extra energy is needed, I'm inclined to choose a: 450 Bushmaster "Thumper" Hornady ...and, for lighter tasks where agility is needed, I'd choose a:

However, reality for me is, in nearly all situations/conditions: Marlin Model 1894 http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/gen...4ss-44mag.html (Perfect Brush Gun .. make mine a Marlin 1894SS 44mag) ...with a side iron of same caliber: http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firear...ction&famlst=6
