If things are so bad that I need to have one under my pillow, I will just stay up and keep it in my hand. Otherwise, there is ALWAYS one no further away than arms reach, even in the shower, there is one on the hamper beside tub. Glock 10mm is house gun, stainless CZ75 is my 24/7/365 carry gun.

That's not true at all! Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits!

Just a Easton Black Majic bat for now. Home deffense is all in the hips.

.......Soon to be a M&P or XD .45 in a quick safe. My wife's brother was concerned about me buying a pistol. He said, "What happens when she gets mad and decides I deserve to be shot?" I said, "That's why I'm getting a .45!"

I have a CZ82 right by my pillow. I wouldn't risk it sliding and getting stuck between the bed and the wall. Then I have a 12guage pump hanging beside my bed. And of course they're loaded. Unloaded firearms are useless. I just don't chamber them. I figure if someone doesn't want to die, the sound of a firearm chambering will make them run. If not, oh well.

My double gun bag has a 1911 in .45 with HP's and a Buck Mark with Velocitors in it. A Glock knife under the bed, a Kuhkuri under the other side and a S/G in the closet. My Jeeps keys with the panic button and cell phone to call the coroner. A bell hanging on the door knob, and the house alarm.

Butter knife and two rocks! Hopefully a 1911 soon.

I'm pretty good with the rocks though.....

My wife's pillow has our chihuaha that can hear a rabbit hopping through the yard and at my feet is our boxer that won't let it through the door and stored high up (because of children) but close is the 24/7 .40 compact.
