Well, I got my reloading bench moved into the house, finally, and now have a computer with XP and am currently in the process of downloading the Reloader's Reference to install on it. Hopefully everything will work and work much easier then with Vista. Which I'd add it works fine on.

I just wanted to update. This program installed flawlessly on the computer I now have on my reloading bench. Which I'd add is run by/with XP. What a great reloading software.

I inventoried all my dies. including taper crimp dies. Then I inventoried my toys. It even allows you to load up to two (2) pictures for each item. You can enter manufacturer, model, caliber, when you bought it, where and how much you paid for it. Whether its a pistol, rifle or shot gun, whether it's lever, pump, SA, SA and DA etc., etc.,..Then if you sold it, when and to whom and for how much.
You can also post two favorite loads for each one. Two for cast and two for jacketed.

So, if you're looking for a reloading software, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE! Especially if you have XP.
It will also work with Vista and the guy that created it also has directions for Windows 7.

Seriously my fellow reloaders, give it a try. And if you have issues, with Vista, I gave specific directions on how to fix it. If you have XP, you won't have an issue. Just make sure to down load ALL the files. Not just the RRV9 program. Also download the Targets, and manuals from A-Z. Then after you install the RRV9, you install the manuals and targets.

Here's a screen shot of/from the firearm inventory section...The one for your dies is pretty similar.

Hey Toby, sorry for not getting back to you any sooner.

Anyhow, if you happen to come back and check to see if anyone replied, first, let me say hello and welcome to G&G.

That said, if you're trying to install the same software I did, I can only direct you to all my posts on page one regarding it.

I go through it step by step and did so as thorough as I could.

The only other thing I'd suggest is contacting the maker of the program and tell him of your problems. He'll either gladly assist you or send you a copy of the program on CD as I did.

Other then that, I don't know what to say or do to help you.

I got it working and I love it. And to make sure you know, I have it installed on my laptop with is running Vista 32 bit and on a desktop running XP with SP3 I believe.

I can't remember if I also installed it on our other desktop or not. If I did, and FWIW, it's running Vista 64bit.

Good luck.
