TC vs. RUGER

I am wanting to get a .270 to add to my gun safe. I like the TC Venture and the Ruger american. Not sure which to get. Can you guys provide me with any help on what you all have heard on them. I am already aware of the TC recall.

I've read a few reviews on the TC Venture and can tell you that they have all been very positive. I doubt that you are going to find much wrong with the Venture or the Ruger, considering the cost.

The Ruger American has been spoken highly of, as well. I handled one at the local outdoors store and I thought it was a nice rifle. Between the two rifles, the Venture would be my pick, but the Ruger isn't junk.

I really liked the .280 Rem. the Venture offers.

Here's a review for the Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 (I recently bought one in 7mm-08). It's awesome.
