I'm not so sure that it does...as far as an Assault Rifle competition, the AK might win, but in a battle rifle competition, I might give the SKS the edge.

im not experienced enough to give more detail than i did in my first post

i know from expeirence that both of these guns are so much win

i own an sks and it has never failed, not once. i dont clean it religiously (i usually just shove paper towels and cleaning oil down the barrel, i dont break it down at all), it is accurate and reloads fast. it doesnt kick like a mule although a bit heavy. i love it, my favorite gun of all time and i would never part ways with it (plus its the second gun ive ever owned and my dad gave me it. aside from a .22 it was the first)
