hmmm...so I felt the kel-tec again today and I think I'm going to pass - can't get myself to spend $500 on plastic that's not even finished smooth

It might be a good plinker but I think I'll wait until I can get a M1A...

Sounds like a good choice, though I'd still recommend an SKS if you don't already have one. Even in California you should have options at $200 or less.
