| New guy with AR-15 question
Hello everyone! Been checking out the board for a week or so. Nice place you got here! I have a question for you. I'm going to a gun show tomorrow and was hoping to get a couple more mags for my AR. I was wondering if there were certain ones to stay away from? I'm pretty new to this and didn't want to buy junk or get ripped off. So far I only have 2 firearms under my belt: That AR and a Taurus PT145. But I don't plan on stopping at that! I appreciate any help you guys could give me. :guitar: Rock on and God bless... Dude |

Push down as far as you can on the follower, make sure it doesn't bind on the way down and that it springs back as soon as you let go of it. Then look at the case and make sure there aren't any dents or rust spots.

Havinga Taurus PT145 under your belt I can understand, I mean it is a compact handgun. But keeping an AR under your belt? That can't be comfortable.

I've bought several English made 30 round Mags with green followers, new for around $20 each. "Life is too important to be taken seriously."
