Can you think of any practical use for this?

Sound off with your serious or not so serious ideas.

Me, I actually think it would make a decent target rifle setup. Good base for a bipod, adjustable stock length, nice vertical grip. And the shell holder would be excellent for anyone hunting with such a shotgun. While it would stick out and have the potential to catch on things, it would be handy to handle, quick to aim, and easier to control.

Might be excellent for a heavy barreled slug gun.

BRG I'd like to try the rifle version of that for my h&r 223. I like the little tack-driver single shot but it just doesn't fit me that well when I'm shooting offhand. The pistol grip might help and with a bipod it might be an economical small caliber "sniper" like in the second pic below.

I looked at those BRG3, and the only concern I have is the stock handling the recoil...

In my experience, ATI's products aren't all that durable, despite their no questions asked warranty. I will say they honor their warranty very well, but I'd rather pay a little more and not have to worry about it.

Why not (for example) a Mossberg 500 with a rifled barrel and one of the pistol grip/rifle stock combo things? I like the H&R guns without a doubt, just not so big on putting that ATI stock on it.

But if it works, let us know so we can all get one!

theres no way that pile of trash would make an even half !!!!!ed target gun. i cant see how you would plan on getting a decent cheek weld with the stock and have any hope of a good sight picture through the scope. just because someone decides they can pile a lot of trash onto a gun, doesnt make it usefull. sorry, i wouldnt waste my money on any of it.

Well, if it can take other M4 accessories, there are cheekpieces for it. I too have thought such a stock would be good for growing kids. The more I think of it the more hunting seems out, particularly due to all the protrusions. I of all people should be ready to just buck up and make my own if I wanted a p-grip hunting stock. For target uses, the last thing I'd think would be to call it a sniper rifle. Just a basic paper-shooter. Now if they'd made it to take any AR grip, you could put one on with a palmswell.
