youth model barrel

Does anyone know if I can buy a .22rimfire barrel for an NEF youth model? I have one of their catalogues and there are vague references about what fits, what has to be sent to the factory and what you are eternally ****ed for even thinking about. It is such a PIA to send something back to the factory so I would rather not do this. Thanks for any help Joe In KY

you must fhave a rimfire receiver due to lthe postion of the firing pin. the receiver must be returned to the factory for the work
