| Knoxx axion stock
I'm wanting to drop a .308 into this stock, but need some user input. Does anyone have this stock . Interested in the eye relief problem as it moves to compensate for recoil. One tactical looking stock for sure. Knoxx Industries, LLC |

if it moves much at all , it will put a scope in your eye.

I can vouch for the recoil taming properties, I have one of their Spec Ops stocks on my 870, really works well. But I also agree with you guys, I'd be worried about the scope hitting me. Edited to add: Although I did get to thinking about my Spec Ops stock. It doesn't slide straight back, it comes back at an upward angle, maybe it achieves just enough height to keep it fromm being a real danger. I don't know for sure if this is true on the Axiom setup, you might want to give these guys a call. I've talked to them on several occasions w/ questions concerning the Spec Ops and accessories, they are very knowledgeable and friendly.

They said they wouldn't have made it to hit you for obvious reasons. All you need is a 3.5" eye relief on your scope, so this might be a go. I think this line of reasoning is holding a lot of people back on this, so does any body have the Axiom stock.

Now wait a minute, just the stock, this Knoxx Axiom costs $589.95 for a Remington short or long action rifle? Just the flipping stock? If that's the case, no way in my right mind would I ever spend that much on just a stock. I don't care if it eliminated all felt recoil and on occasion shot the gun buy itself. Knoxx Recoil Solutions Even for the Axiom ultra-light model, $289.95 is still too much. For $589.95 I can by another decent rifle, or 5 Mosins lol, a handgun (the Ruger New model Blackhawk in .45LC I'm wanting), a hell of a lot of ammo or some nice AR accessories like a Troy flip up rear sight and a Timney or Chip McCormick trigger and a few 30rd. mags. For $589.95, I'll stick with felt recoil. lol OUCH!!!
