Want to Buy a Benelli R1

I am looking at buying a benelli R1 I am thinking about going with the 300 wsm just wondering if any one out there owns one and what they think about it. Are you happy is it worth the $1100 + price tag or what. I really want to buy a semi auto to complete my range of guns as i have a .308 remmington 600 bolt and a 45/70 marlin lever. Just thought I would check before i go out and spend lots of money.

Im not familiar with the Benelli rifle, I have there auto shotgun and its excellent. I do have two BARs and both are very fine accurate rifles. I have one in the .300 win and one in the 7 mm. My dad has three, one in the .300 win and .30-06 and another I cant remember. He has killed many deer and elk with it. I can only remember it jamming once in all the years hes carried it. Just another auto you might think about.
