I managed to finally buy me a TC Encore, have always wanted one, this is the synthetic, blue fitted with a 243 winchester 24' barrel, i purchased the gun used but looks to be in excellent condition, was already fitted with a scope base and luckily i had a new bushnell sharpshooter 3x9x40 scope in my drawer of shooting goodies, the gun shop i use had the federal power shok 100 grain 243 win. ammo for 1.95 a box so im gonna take it out tomorrow and site it in and get ready for the der rifle season which starts Nov. 17th, will let everyone know how it shoots

that was 11.95 a box

two-70 Great buy !!! You'll probably keep it forever, now tell us what extra barrels would you like to have ??? LOL
I'd like to know what kind of groups you get when you go out to shoot it too...A.H

I want a 270 win barrel, gota have that since im keen on 270, and a 209 x 50 muzzle loader barrel and a 12 gauge vent rib barel with chokes, 7mm-08

Mine's a .223Rem with the 26" stainless heavy barrel in a nutmeg laminated lefthand thumbhole stock. It's at the machinists right now having a Shrewd muzzle brake put on. A very pleasing gun to the eye and deadly to jackrabbits...
