Sighting in my M1 Garand

Is there something (book/manual) that will tell me how to sight in my Garand? I'm semi new to shooting and just bought my Garand. Is there a basic setting for 100 yards with no elevation or windage?

each rifle is different also the ammo used has an affect on the rifle's zero. so my suggestion is this ammo test then when you found the one that shoots better in your rifle then make the adjustments you need to center that group on the bull. I find on the windage nob it's roughly around 2 clicks per ring and elevation is 4 or 5 clicks but again each weapon is different.

center the windage, and give the elevation 6-8 clicks up from bottom , then go shoot. you'll be fairly close.

Ok thanks a lot. I'll tweak it from there.

I use to center the windage and then go up 12 clicks and it was pretty close at 100 yds
