| Senior Member | Any idea on what thread that is, I have been looking and can't find a list like that. So I just placed the order for the C&R forms, I got a fingerprint card as well just in case. My prints are already on file since I have done security work here in Vegas, and having prints done are a requirement. I met a guy at the show the other day that told me his c&r came in about 5 weeks, so hopefully mine will be quick as well. I think since I am doing this now, I will hold off on firearms purchases till I get the license. Should I wait on getting my reloading gear as well, so i can use the discount to get the equipment? | If you love the thought of having Federal agents rummaging through your life anytime they feel and also love the thought of having Federal agents visit you at home any time they want without warning, say 3am, go ahead and get the FFL. You'll also have to keep maticulous records of everything. As it is now, the only one that knows what you bought and when is the FFL/s you used. That information is only provided when it is asked for. Otherwise, pretty much just stays between you and the FFL. Something else to consider... G_Meister

| Senior Member | From what I have been told, as long as you do the right thing and don't try and test the system, you won't be bothered...besides...the brady tax background check that we all pay each time we buy a firearm is no different. The government know every time we buy a gun...so why not keep track and pay less for them? |
