yep sure have. love them great fun guns in my mind. have all five of them from the carbines to the longer 20inches. My favorite has to be the 45 with an oversized lever. saw it around 10+yrs ago and had to have it. Always wanted the dukes gun and well now I do.

Thats what I was looking at 20" barrel in 454. Like to have a rifle revolver combo. in the same caliber. I talked to MooseMan and he said hes only found good reviews on them. I did a little searching of my own and found the same. Their made in Spain if I'm correct.

Some of the early ones had problems with the forends cracking, haven't heard any complaints about the later ones.

Mine hasn't cracked (yet).

If you get one, or any of the Rossi levers, I really recommend getting this guy's DVD (lots of good info on tweaking the rifles, and it makes disassembly and reassembly much easier):

DVD Video - Rossi 92 Winchester Marlin Uberti Shotguns Pistols Cap & Ball

i found a tang sight that might work.
it's base is elevated in the center so the # can still be seen.
i believe it is for marlin rifles

Some six years ago I purchased a 44 mag in stainless. When the weather take a bad turn it is my go to gun. Drives tacks at 75 yds., more than enough for heavy snow days.

The ones I've seen in .357 Magnum have a 1-in-30" twist. What kind of bullet weight would work best with that?

Probably 125g to 158g. The twist is too slow for a 180g. I might look around at 130g or 140g, this would be a good balance of speed and weight.

hi just joined up. i bought a 454 puma scout yesterday got it home and tried to load some 45lc lrn, lrnft, etc.etc. and they wouldnt feed. i checked the oal on them and they were from 1.600 to 1.585. but none of them fed. called the dealer that i bought it from and told him about it. and he said that he did say (which i dont recall) that they wont feed lead. im not saying he didnt say that and i might have missed that. so is this a fact that they wont feed lead bullets? i reload and i dont know what else i can do to get them to feed.

sorry meant "lrnfp"
