Single Shot 6.5Sweed

is there any company that makes a single shot rifle in 6.5x55?

id like to get a rifle to shoot the surplus ammo and id rather not have to have a long action gun if i can avoid it, just a simple pondering

The only two companies that i can think of are the Thompson/Center and the New England Firearms. I just has a quick look at one of our chian stores catolauge and it does not have the 6.5X55 listed in either brand. Hoever i seem to remember seeing the 6.5X55 available from Thompson so it might be worth some investigation.

Why not just pick up a sweedish rifle.They are a lot of fun and you need one. sam.
