What is the best, and easiest, sights to use for a beginner? What are the cheapest to get placed on a rifle by a gun smith? |

I take it you're talking after market sights? What rifle? Someone or I could name a brand and they may not make it for that rifle? Please, more then happy to try and help you or offer suggestion, but, need a tad bit more info. What brand and model rifle? How much do you want to spend? Why iron sights, why not a scope? G-Meister

I'm looking for a light, cheaper rifle. So I was thinking the Savage 200. After the rifle I would say no more than $300, but I don't expect that they would cost that much.

I'd just get a scope. If you want a durable one for less then $80 bucks, google this Leapers SCP-432AOMDL2. I got one and it seems very well made. They have a good warranty, so not that I need it but if i do, it's there. I'd personally go that route, especially if you're going to hunt with it, rather then pay about the same for some of the higher end sights, then you have to pay to have the installed if you can't do it. A scope if easy to put on. The scope is just a suggestion though. If however you want iron sights, here are some options.>>> XS Sight Systems - Rifle Sights Good Luck, G-Meister

While not having iron sights isn't a deal-breaker for me, I DO prefer to have them! I know 2 people that had hunts ruined by broken scopes! If you have them, you can always go to iron sights. Or bring a backup scope?
