Cool anyone have one?!

7.62mm Tokarev Semiautomatic Rifle SVT40

this is one of the coolest rifles ive done research on in a while, from what i understand it used the same ammo as our belovid mosins! (7.62x54r) but is semiauto! i found it on the web while looking for other guns that shoot 7.62x25 tokarev ammo, other than the cz52 that is. i undertand that this gun is the predisessor of our also belovid SKS. i cant think of anything better than a mix of my two favorite rifles!! anyway im just wandering what the avalobilaty of this rifle is and what an avorage price might be? aswell as any other comments you might have

I have seen one but the man who had it still has it wrapped up in brown paper and cosmo refused to open it or let me shoot it! the nerve of him saying it was some type of collectable and did not what it to get used. I would like one myself but every one I have found for sale is $ PRICEY $

yeah i love the idea of the SVT40. all the goodness of our beloved SKS rifles with semi auto and the wonder of having a train hit your shoulder every shot with the Mosin's 7.62x54R ammunition. it truly is a gun i wish i owned

Let's see...

That gun has a muzzle brake and an assumably detachable magazine. Yep-- it's an assault rifle. Ban it!! Ban it!!! Never mind it's been around for ages...
