They sold those cartridges to collecters for $100 each to off-set development and production costs! The 600 Overkill is pretty nasty as well. Theres a picture out there of a goat that might as well have been a 1 gal. milk jug full of water.

Anything over 50 cal is not exactly illegal but is restricted under the NFA as a "destructive device". Similar to silencers and short barreled rifles and shotguns, it would require a tax stamp, federal registration, and a delay. HOWEVER Some big bore hunting cartridges have a "DD Exemption" that treats them like shotguns, ie being exempt from that category. That is on a cartridge by cartridge basis.

First I didn't call you any 'names' and I don't see how calling BS on an incorrect statement (Anything over .50cal is illegal in the U.S.) can be considered 'running you down' I think you may be a bit thin skinned. I don't know you from Adam, and I sure don't go around looking for your posts to call BS on. Think about what you are posting and I won't ![]() There may be some STATES that restrict size, but not here in the NW. A $200 tax stamp is not a restriction, just a fee. The only restriction I see on these LARGE cal rifles is the cost.
