| My friend bought a new Henry lever action .22 for $229.00 and he loves it. The action is very smooth and it is very accurate.

| whoops, deleted my post on accident. Put me down in the Marlin or Ruger camp as well. Both are accurate to 100 yards (typically) completely stock. There are a million Rugers out there though, so wait for a deal on that. hard to go wrong with either of those rifles. |

ive got the varmint ive said this before but. ive got a shilen bbl. custom 10-22 and ive got the aforementioned cz452 varmint. they ended up costing about the same. that cz will outshoot that ruger anytime with any ammo at any distance.
