| Does anyone know this rifle?
I can't find the name of this rifle and sound moderator... i know it is a .17HMR but can't find out what it's called, does anyone know??? |

It does not look like a .17 HMR. The silencer is entirely (Read WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY) too big for a .17 HMR. The bolt (from what I can see) is too long for a .17 HMR.

i thought the silencer looked too big as well, i'm thinking maybe it's some custom made one? looks like a Reflex to me, but the kind of silencer for a .223 onwards... nice rifle, wish i knew what it was called. cheers for the response.

The trigger group looks like a Winchester. IF I had to guess I would say it is a Winchester short action centerfire...

If it is a .17 HMR I would say it looks allot like a modell 77 Ruger. I'm curious about the silencer as to how you are going to slow the bullet down below 1050 fps so it doesn't pop the sound barrier.

excellent! i think you're right with it being a 77 ruger! they can be chambered to .17 hmr cartridges apparently...cheers for that mate! i just wish i understood that silencer on that particular rifle in the picture, im sure it looks like a reflex, but not one that could be fitted to a .17hmr!
