| Possible Buy Does anyone have info about the worth of a Winchester Model 70 "Boss" in 25 06? A friend wants to sell his, in excellent to mint condition for $475. Would appreciate any and all comments. Thanks in advance. |

| I dont know what those "book out" at these days but, I recall them being in the neighborhood of $650.00 (in alaska) when they first were released. A good source of pricing info is your local firearms retailer, go to a couple and see what they have on the shelf for sale and compare them. |

| Wood or fiberglass stock? The Walnut would definately be worth more. I'd say that the "Boss" system likely detracts from it's value, even though it cost more new. Many simply do not like the look. For a mint walnut stocked model 70, I'd say it's a great price, if you can live with the boss system. A very good caliber, very underrated.
