|  Which lever action .17 HMR to get? Hi guys, check out these two .17 HMR's, there is a henry lever action and a ruger lever action. Which one of these two rifles would you get? Henry lever action Henry Varmint Express Lever Action Rifle H001V, 17 HMR, 20", American Walnut Stock, Blue Finish Ruger lever action Ruger Model 96 Lever Action Carbine Rifle 6203, 17 HMR, 18.5", Hardwood Stock, Blued Steel Finish Thanks,nc.hunter.

| Henry's are great...I got the GOLDENBOY in .22lr...their service can't be beat!

| I like the one the first link brings you to. But if I was to get a .22, it would be a Ruger 10/22.

| Yeah i agree with glock. The 17 is more of a long range rimfire. I would get a cheaper round like a 22 for a lever action. |

| I have the Henry Youth levergun in .22 (H001Y). My wife, son, and I all love it. It is very accurate and the action is very smooth. ClayMan |

| i would say henry but if u had to chage go to Gander Mountain > We Live Outdoors - Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Outdoor Recreation, Apparel & Footwear, Gunsmithing they have the same savage 17 hmr that i have and they also have .22 you can pick between which one you want but its $250 for one or the other comes with a scope and rings also and a free gun cleaning i love it just go to the web site and click on current adds |

| two things to add. The ruger has been discountinued and are becoming very hard to find. The other is have you looked at the new legacy arms model 92 in 17hmr. I Personally havn't got to put my hand on one yet but if they are anything like the rest of the puma line it should be alot of fun and worth some consideration. |

| get the henry, you'll be glad you did. i have the golden boy in.22 and love it and now when i get that tax incentive check i'm going to get a big boy in.44mag.

| Henry! The henry will probubly be a lot better made. Unless you are doing long range shooting stick to a .22

| I have 2 Big Boy Henry's, ya just can't beat their actions, they are butter smooth. But a 17hmr, I would probably opt out for a Savage Bolt accu-trigger for optimal accuracy. |
