My own Ar15 is zeroed at 300 metres with the iron sights and scope is zeroed at 500m but I normally just shoot service type comps at 200-600m.

Its easy for someone to say that 1.5 at 100m is zero at 200m.But all rifles are different and it would depend a lot on your ammo and its velocity. You could try it and put some targets out from 75m to 200m and see where they are going.I use point blank zeroing a lot.

| ^+1. Look up the exterior ballistics for the ammo you are shooting.

| i would try with the .223 remington sighting +2 high at 100 yds/meters that will put it in the head of a prarrie dog at 100 if ya aim center mass, at 200 should be close to on if not a little high, max point blank range is approx 275 yards/meters for a p-dog as they say that will be close enough for gov't work |

| Set your target and zero at 200 and there will be no question...
