not to get off subject... but my .308 savage 10FP KILLS my shoulder...i cant get good groupings because i am soo worried about the recoil (then again a pretty much hard plastic pad doesnt help much lol) my first shot is always .5" away from where i am aiming. then the rest are just all over

i was thinking on a limbsaver recoil pad, remington gel recoil pad or a new stock (possibly a choate). any suggestions on what to get? i was just to beable to put a 3rd group in a target about the size of a quarter or 50cent piece!

I love my .22LR at the range. Fun to shoot compared to the big boomers.
