i would recommand either. for the money i think the 700 is the nicest rifle on the market. personaly i have a synthic stocked 700 adl in .270win and love gun. and i have shot the 700 mtn rifle ultra light in 3006 and it had no kick/recoil.

I think I'll still go with the 30-06, though.

It's reletively cheap, and I think it'll drop just about anything...
