Scope or gun? Round 2

so a few months ago i saved up about $300 for a new scope for my cz550 varmint laminated. i looked at a lot of scopes and was ready to get one, and then it happened. i checked out a Remington 870 12 ga. and was like, well, i could get a scope or i could get another gun to add to the collection. i got the 12 ga. and put the scope off for another time.

now here we are. this whole week ive been planning on ordering a Mueller scope for my cz550. the scope is about $210. i started lookin around at different guns here and there and got a little interested in a hi point 9mm carbine. ive seen a few pics of modifications people have done to the 995 and that pretty much did it. i went to the gun store today and got one. i put my aimpoint compM scope on it, and its pretty accurate.

one of these days i will get a new scope for my cz550, but im happy with the purchase i made today.

anyone else ever have this problem? if u wanna call it that. u save for one thing but get something else instead.

Learn to shoot like the Indians with no sights, you wont need a scope. But evidently you should keep planning on getting a scope,it keeps you buying guns. sam.

Of course the Indians had to get up close and personal to hit anything. Had to count coup somehow.

last wednesday I had to wait a hour to pick up my wife from work, so I stopped by a local gun store. and bought a new Taurus .45/.410 shotgun pistol stainless with 4 inch barrel.

Yep, and it's a problem. Been needin' tires for my Wagoneer, but vet bills keep gettin' in the way.

Unless those vet bills are on horses that I could ride when the tires go flat that would be no problem for me. sam.

If you get one or two good scopes down the road, you can rotate them between rifles. I probably have 2 scopes for every 3 rifles in my safe. When I get the urge to shoot one without a scope, I take it off one that has a scope mounted. I've never been in a "last minute" pinch where there wasn't time to sight in the gun. If that every happens, I would just use a rifle that already has a scope mounted.

This way, you save money on scopes, save space in the safe, And get to spend more on guns. The majority of the FUN GUNS don't use scopes anyway.

Besides....scopes are a crutch.

well so far im lovin this new 995 carbine. ive been comin home from work everyday and takin it out in the yard to shoot w/e I can find. beer cans, bricks, targets. just wanna shoot it all the time now. hehe. guess thats how it is with any new toy tho. i think im gonna go down to my creek this weekend and find some snakes or vermin to shoot at. i dunno why, but for some reason this gun doesnt look as ugly when u have it in your possession as it does online. i put my aimpoint scope on it and it actually looks pretty cool to me. im still going to try to get the ati stock in the next month or two.
