| I won a Golden Boy at a Friends of the NRA event back in May and thought I had gone to heaven. The next day I was at the dealer's door when he opened so I could claim my prize. When we unboxed it, my heart broke; no way to scope it. My 100-year-old eyes in a 65-y-o body just don't focus well on the front post anymore so I use scoped long arms. Guess I'll just make a display case for it. All is not lost, though. A few days later I was browsing another dealer's stock. Turns out he had a new H001T he was willing to deal on. By that evening it was scoped and "test" fired/sighted (to the tune of about 100 rounds). It's had a few workouts since. Love it. Kind of wish he'd had the Frontier model in stock -- but sometimes one just has to "settle" for what's available. |

| After taking a look via the links you provided, I personally like the way the Golden Boy looks. The other don't look bad wither. But I'd go with the Golden Boy. I mean, $40 bucks difference, no biggy...

| Senior Member ![]() | MemphisJim, thats the only thing about it, nowhere to put a scope unless you have the receiver drilled and tapped (which I am thinking about since I have a spare receiver)...but I'll probably just get a blued lever action that will take a scope later on.
