Trigger Job

I was at the range a couple of weeks ago and met a guy who was shooting a custom AR. We started talking and he had me shoot his 9X19 Glock, I think it was a Glock36. He had modified the trigger and it was quite sweet. My friend Bob tried it and liked it even though he didn't like my Glock 30. So I'm haveing him do the same mod to my 30. He ordered the parts and will give me a call when they come it. We'll modify my 30 and see how I like it. It can be changed back to stock if I save the oringinal parts.
I haven't used Glocks much, and maybe this will become my regular carry piece. He also pointed out that the trigger pull is much different if you don't release the trigger completely between shots, so I tried his, only letting the trigger back until in clicked and squeezing again. This could very well change my opinion of Glock pistols.
I'll have to see if he can modify the trigger on my YL's K9, she doesn't like the long pull.
Anyone here know much about modifing Glocks? Or interested in getting this done?

Lightbulb

New Glock® Trigger Pull Connector offers more control.

Reduces trigger pull to 3 1/2 lbs. All Glock® pistols sold in the U.S. have a 5-lb. trigger pull. However, their U.S. competition pistols sold in the rest of the world have a 3 1/2-lb. trigger pull, just like this one. The Connector allows you to have the same control over a carry Glock® as on a competition Glock®. This Connector fits every Glock® and does not require a lighter return spring. Plus, the Scherer Connectors are Robar NP 3 treated. In plain English, it means a superior plating for the competitive edge. Easy installation without modifications. Measures approx. 1 1/4". I prefer the Ghost disconnect with the travel stop; it helps tremendously with the reset.

There are some other minor mods that can be done in concert with the connector; if you are interested in doing a trigger job yourself PM me and I will forward you instructions. It is quite simple; only a little bit of stoning and some polishing for great results.

I have these mods done to mine and the results are well-worth a little bit of time and the price of a disconnect.

I put a scheerer 3.5# trigger kit in my G17 and it closed my groups up at least a good inch.
