| I got the Federals, one standard and one ported, the work the same as the original, but if you like, you can use non jacketed if you want since the rifling isn't poligonal.

| jarvis barrels are very good, as are barsto's. neither are cheap. for a good affordable barrel, the one's lone wolf has made for them are also good. if you have ammo that will not reliably feed in an otherwise reliable pisto, DONT USE THAT AMMO! |

| The factory Glock barrel should be more reliable than the aftermarket barrels - most of those are built with match chambers (i.e. tighter tolerances, and a fully supported chamber). If you have ammo that wont feed through the Glock Factory barrel - pitch it! It is junk. Also, if your Glock has some age on it, you may need to replace the recoil spring. It is cheap and simple to do. If you just have to have another barrel, I had a KKM barrel that worked pretty well. It was a drop-in fit. |

| I was thinking of trying and told to try a Barstow (spelling?)barrels. Try GlockWorld.com - Glock information, Glock Gun and Glock Accessory shopping or GlockStore.com - Glock parts and accessories high capacity Glock magazines Glock pistols Glock holsters Glock barrels Glock magazines glock handguns magazine extensions disassembly and reassembly glock cleaning and maintenance Glock concealment conce. I to have heard good things about Storm Lake barrels. I'm considering trying one or the other, which ever has the lesser priced compensated barrel. G-Meister
