G27.

In the family of "baby GLOCK", it is compact for easy concealment, yet carries 9+1 rounds of .40S&W stock. With a Pearce +1 Mag extension (P/N: PG-2733), you can have 10+1, a place to have your pinky sit, and very little loss in concealablility.

Carry premium rounds such as Winchester Ranger SXT Talon 165gr (what I use) or 180gr .40S&W or any other premium Hollow Point and you won't have any issue with penetration or 'stopping power'.

Add in a Blackhawk CQC Serpa holster (can be purchased a little cheaper without the 'carbon fiber' sticker... yes, it's a very thick sticker) and you're in business for any OC or CC situation. I know... I use this exact combination.

While looking check out the CZ 75 Compac in 40 S&W. A good site to look at pistols is The Gun Source very low prices and you can click a caliber and see what appears to be hundreds to different brands of pistols in the caliber you choose.

Really think this out

Large bore/light weight = phenominal recoil and
force impact on hand/wrist = lack of practice =
never becoming proficient = failure in time of danger and/or hunting opportunity

Note the Smith and Wesson Scanium .44's are not setting the sales world on fire.

Think it out - get a proper balance of weight, balance, and caliber, practice, then be ready when opportunities or needs arise.

I had a Glock 30 in .45 that wasn't too bad. A little hard to hold onto a .45 in such a small frame if you have big hands like me. That's why I traded it. Here's what it looks like:

I have a glock 30 and I love it. The recoil isn't harsh even for a shorter gun.

Think about the Model 33, best bang for your buck.

Get the Glock 33, it is the same as the 27, but more bang for the buck, also you can get a .40 berrel and swap it out if the Sig.357 is too expensive to shoot.

SIG-Sauer SIG Pro SP 2022 pistol, developed for French police and gendarmerie forces.

Buy SIG-Sauer SIGPro pistols at Impact Guns online store Type: Double Action or Double Action Only
Chamber: 9x19mm Para, .357SIG, .40 S&W
Weight with empty magazine: 760 g (9mm); 790 g (.40 & .357)
Length: 187 mm
Barrel length: 99 mm
Capacity: 15 (9mm) or 12 (.40) rounds

I like this gun due to its length and its magzine capacity and what it shoots(the 357 sig and the 40sw) both being very reliable.

Sit on it and have a think
