looking to get one of these guns for my concealed carry gun. i know kel tec is cheaper, but overall, what you guys think. any advise is appecitative.
You are very right, Kel-Tec is a lot cheaper. Even if they were the same price I prefer Kel-Tec. If you are willing to spend the money a Glock will cost take a look at a Subcompact Springfield XD. My .40 XD Subcompact is my carry gun. Thousands of rounds through it without one jam or ftf.
mc24, I own a Kel-Tec P11 and a Glock 27. I feel more comfortable with the accuracy and reliability of my Glock, but, its a little thick. I carry the Glock mostly in winter and the Kel-Tec in the summer when the clothing is a little "thinner." Kel-Tec is an very well built gun for its price. But, the Glock is far superior. The pf 9 is the single stack 9mm right? I'd say it'd be a great gun if you're not into wearing photographer's vest or button down shirts that's a half size too large.
But, if you're willing to make the wardrobe sacrifice, get the Glock. I'd carry mine year round if it wasn't so thick.
The difference is recoil. Im been carrying the G26 since it came out. I do wear my shirts too large but thats worth it. The PF9 is a better pocket gun and thats all you are willing to carry then that the choice.

My son (NYPD Officer) had two Glocks. He gave one to his nephew, my grandson, and he takes the other on his boat as a gun he doesn't care if it rusts or goes overboard. Doing legal work for the Police Deparrtment, I'm an attorney for NYC, I shoot with a lot of the cops. Common opinion is Glock = crap. Go with the Kel-Tec or as KW Gary said, if you want to spend the money a Glock will cost the XD is a much better gun.

I can't speak for sure, but its probably about the same as my P11, which is at 9.5 lbs. Takes some getting used to, oh and its double action only, so its kinda long as well.
I can't say for sure. Seems like I read somewhere it was in the high 6's. It's supposed to be lighter than the older P11 trigger. Newer P11's have an improved trigger.
It's WAY lighter than the DA pull on my Ruger P89. I also have a Rossi .357mag. I would say force wise its about the same as the Rossi though much smoother.
I've got a fish scale around here somewhere. Maybe I'll go measure it later. Main thing about the trigger pull is that it's very long. It took me a bit of dry firing (with a snap cap) before I quit jerking it. My finger would just kind of get bored and go "Ah screw it" the last little bit.
