Question here's some ??? for ya

I have a Glock 17 with the factory 10 rnd. mag, 2 "aftermarket" 17 rnd. mag, and Tru Glo adjustable night sights.

1. What do you guys think of aftermarket mags? I want more high cap. mags, but can't afford the $80-100 for a mag. Or should I just buy Glock 10 rnd. mags and be happy with it? What about those 33 rnd. mags that sell for around 50 bucks. I kind of just want one of those for looks..... It seems to me that factory Glock mags just better, and you can tell they have stronger springs when loading them.

2. I have two problems with my sights. Keep in mind these are not factory sights. My front sight post has some side-to-side play in it, more than I want.... One of my rear night sights has burned out. Any recomendations for what sights I should put on it now? I am thinking about some of those, 2 colored night sights (one color in back, and a different color on the front sight). I don't know if I need adjustable ones again, I am not that great with a pistol to begin with...

Other than that, my Glock just finished it's first year of being my sidearm when hunting.

The only aftermarket mags I trust for all guns is Mec-Gar's. Don't have a Glock (yet) so I can't speak for those. Got Mec-Gars for my Springfield 1911...beautiful stainless finish and work flawless!

I'd only buy a 33-rdr as a cheap conversation piece. But, I don't need one of them to start a conversation. Factory hi-caps can be had for about $60. Check around Glocktalk for them. Regular 10's for about $20. Extenders are not that much, either. Try Glockmeister, they're a good outfit to deal with.
I'd take my sights to a gunsmith. preferably a qualified Glock armorer and talk sights and fixing what you have.

I have the PT Night Sights on my 22. They have a lifetime warranty with them, and they work great. Cost me $65, plus shipping, to have them installed.
Check out www.ptnightsights.com
I agree with Mike on the mags. Check around before you possibly waste any money on aftermarket mags for your Glock...
