magazine extension question g-27

I have a g-27 and i have a pierce grip extender on the magazine that gives me a 10 round magazine and a place to park my pinkie finger when shooting, i love those features but the spring is now weaker, (i have put 2 brand new springs) this is not much of a problem as it feeds all its rounds but now it wont lock back about 50% of the time, again not a huge problem as i dont ordinarily carry a spare magazine. still there is this nagging feeling that a carry gun should work 100% all the time. i tried wolf spring and i told them what i was doing with their spring they sent me one that increased the pressure alright but then i could only fit eight rounds, should i give up and only use thefactory mags?

The easy answer is to get the +0 (no added round) extender made for the G26. This will give you the finger rest without the spring problems. With this, you can return to using your stock springs!!!

Isn't that really a problem with the "slide catch" notch on the lip of the mag?

the rest of the mag works fine when i use the factory floor plate, so i think the problem is there, my brother has the +0 version on his 27 and it works perfectly, i was just hoping to keep that extra round if possible but it may be time to settle for half a loaf, i e-mailed pearce, hopefully they reply. thanks guys
